In this short promotional video for the Scituate High School hockey program, directed by alum Ben Smith, we set out to capture the spirit of the town of Scituate, while also creating excitement for the team’s upcoming season.

From the sound design, to the color grade, it was all about capturing that nautical blue collar attitude that the Sailors take pride in. We went for a timeless and gritty film look to embody the spirit that our location gave us. We embraced the challenge of including lower quality game footage, and went with a filmic archival effect to help intertwine it with our shots.
